Mrs. Zulee Elizabeth Morton Keye, age 94, died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at White Oak Manor. She was born August 6, 1915 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Enoch Morton and Rebecca Kimmer Morton and was the wife of the late John A. Keye. Mrs. Keye was a homemaker and a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Mrs. Keye is survived by a son, John M. Keye and his wife Pam of Lancaster, 3 daughters, Patsy Plyler and her husband Douglas, Margaret Catoe and her husband Robert, and Linda Mills and her husband James all of Lancaster, a brother, Rev. Johnny Morton of Concord, NC, 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Keye was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Florence Morton and Aileen Furr and 5 brothers, Watt Morton, Blease Morton, Silas Morton, Rueben Morton and Hoyle Morton.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Keye will be 2:00 pm Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2009 at Springhill Baptist Church by Rev. Brad Threatt and Rev. Benny Barwick with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Keye will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday evening, November 30, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Springhill Baptist Church Building Fund, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.The Family will be at the home of her daughter and son in law, Linda and James Mills, 2542 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster.
