INDIAN LAND, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Yeong Ok Pak, age 91, died January 17, 2012 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born March 23, 1920 in South Korea, the daughter of the late Mosuk Pak and Wal Soon Huang. Mrs. Pak was a homemaker and a member of Southern Korean Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Pak is survived by 4 sons, Boung Soo Chi of Indian Land, SC, Yong Kwang Chi of Seoul, Korea, Yang Soo Chi of Worthington, OH, Yun Soo Chi of Gahanna, OH, 2 daughters, Mi-Cha Choe of Gardena, CA, and Ok-Ja Lee of Lynnwood, WA, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Pak will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Hartley Funeral Home by Pastor Sung S. Song The Family of Mrs. Pak will receive friends immediately following the service and in lieu of flowers suggests memorials be made to Southern Korean Presbyterian Church, 3619 McKee Road, Charlotte NC 28270.
