LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Wilson T. "Punk" Phillips, age 69 of 842 Bailey Road, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at White Oak Manor. He was born August 6, 1941 in Lancaster County, the son of the late John Clyde Phillips and Gladys Corree Hunter Phillips and was the husband of Elsie Marshall Phillips. Mr. Phillips was the retired owner and operator of Phil's Automotive, an active member of St. Luke United Methodist Church where he had served as Trustee and on the Building Committee, and served our great country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Elsie Phillips of the home, a daughter, Leah P. Kenyon and her husband Michael of Dallas, TX, 2 brothers, Clyde Phillips of Lancaster, and Ralph E. Phillips of Clovis, NM, 5 sisters, Catherine P. Hudson, Ruth P. Sowell, Jeannette P. Hunter and Joanne P. Hunter all of Lancaster, Yvonne P. Bragg of Gastonia, NC and sister-in-law, Pat W. Phillips of Garden Ridge, TX.Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by a brother, John Talmadge Phillips, and a sister, Dallas P. Faulkenberry. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Phillips will be 3:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Luke United Methodist Church by Rev. Kyle Randall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
