LANCASTER, SC - Mr. William Kenneth Varnadore, age 84, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home. He was born June 13, 1933 in Chester County, a son of the late Clarence Alex Varnadore and Esther Long Varnadore and is the husband of Elizabeth Carter Varnadore. Mr. Varnadore retired from Springs Industries-Engineering Department and served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a Shriner, a member of the Jackson Shrine Club and previously served as Captain of the Hejaz Color Guard. Mr. Varnadore was a member of Shiloh A.R.P. Church and had served as a Deacon.

Mr. Varnadore is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Lib Varnadore; two sons, Doug Varnadore and his wife, Cathy of Appling, GA and Chris Varnadore and his wife, Leigh of Daniel Island, SC; and six grandchildren, Joey Varnadore, Wesley Varnadore, Luke Varnadore, Will Varnadore, Leighton Varnadore and Logan Varnadore.

Mr. Varnadore was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Varnadore.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Varnadore will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 12, 2018 at Shiloh A.R.P. Church. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 980 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or Shiloh A.R.P. Church, 346 Shiloh Unity Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
