FORT MILL, SC :::::::::: Mr. William "Bill" Thomas Strickland, III, age 47, of 1926 Dam Road, died Monday, January 31, 2011 at his home. He was born October 9, 1963 in Chester County, the son of William Thomas Strickland, Jr. and Jean Baker Strickland. Mr. Strickland was disabled due to an automobile accident several years ago and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Strickland is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jean Strickland of Lancaster, a son, Joshua Chase Strickland of Rock Hill, a daughter, Casey S. White of Rock Hill and a brother, Kirk Strickland of Fort Mill. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Strickland will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 5, 2011 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Chris Tipton.The Family of Mr. Strickland will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday and be at the home of his parents, Thomas and Jean Strickland, 1871 Tara Trail, Lancaster and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Damascus Road Baptist Church, PO Box 1944, Lancaster SC 29721.
