FORT MILL, SC ~ William (Bill) Dennis Lukie, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, born September 6, 1948 in Aurora, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 19, 2019.  Bill was Senior Director of Management Information Systems at Bojangles' Corporate Office.  He joined Bojangles' in 1989 and was a very dedicated, hardworking employee.  Bill really enjoyed his work, coworkers and friends and was always looking for ways he could help others achieve their goals and dreams.

Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years Brenda as well as four children: his daughter Michelle (Kenny) Dooley, stepson Aaron Miller, son Adam Lukie and daughter Rachel (Bobb) Helms; seven grandchildren: Brandon (Kristen) Miller, Melanie Miller, Nicole Lukie, Kayla Lukie, Abigail Helms, Allison Lukie, and Naudia Lukie; one adopted granddaughter Ria Belle; three great-grandchildren; Harmony Miller, Alexis Miller, and Julian Roves; his siblings:  sisters Frances Shelton and Pauline McCormack, his brothers David Lukie and James Lukie, as well as many extended family and very good friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Margaret Lukie, his brother Michael Lukie, his sister Alice Springer, and his son William Dennis Lukie, Jr.

The family will receive friends 4:00-5:00 pm Wednesday, April 24, 2019 with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 pm at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
