LANCASTER, SC – Mr. William Edward Adams, age 87, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022.  He was born May 8, 1935, the son of the late William M. Adams and Vera Leigh Robinson Adams. Mr. Adams loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking care of his goats, cutting grass, and working in his yard. He was always busy and loved to help others. Mr. Adams proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He retired from Dupont after 28 years.

Mr. Adams is survived by his son, Michael "Mike" Adams (Crystal); three grandchildren, Annabeth Adams, Wyatt Adams, and Lawson Adams; his sister, Jean Ethridge; a special nephew, David Ethridge (Tami); a niece, DeeDee Blair (David); and his former spouse, Mary Patricia "Pat" Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Adams will be 3:00 pm Monday, May 23, 2022, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Trent McLaughlin.
