LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Willa Jean Davis Spencer, age 73, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at MUSC-Columbia. She was born March 18, 1948 in Bladenboro, NC, the daughter of the late Milton Isaac Davis and Pauline Davis and was the wife of Roy Spencer.  Mrs. Spencer enjoyed baking and visiting her beach house. She loved Elvis and the family's tradition of the annual oyster roast. She loved her dog Marley and had a special love for her seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roy Spencer; a son, Dean Spencer (Rena); two daughters, Melissa Cauthen (Al), and Melinda Adams; seven grandchildren, Nathan Spencer, Ina Roberts, J.T. Cauthen, Lauren Spencer, Courtney Roberts, Hannah Adams, and Gavin Cauthen; two brothers, Curtiss Davis (Joyce), and Hubert Davis (Pauline); and a sister, Annie Guy.

Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Pauline Davis; her brother, Bobby Davis; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Guy.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
