LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Wilburn J. Williams, age 74, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at CMC - Mercy. He was born March 26, 1938 in Lancaster County, the son of the late George Williams and Minnie West Williams and was the husband of the late Vickie Denton Williams Faulkenberry. Mr. Williams retired from Springs Industries, was of the Baptist faith and served our great country in the United States Army.

Mr. Williams is survived by son, Ronald L. Williams, a daughter, Ronda Williams Baker, 2 sisters, Eunise Helms and Barbara W. Quinn, 4 grandchildren, Kennith Williams and his wife Alexis, Jerry Williams, Crystal Haire and her husband Maurice, and Alicia Baker and her husband Michael, and 4 great grandchildren, Cadence Williams, Ty'shawn McGriff, Brylee Williams, and Daylen McGriff.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a 2 brothers, Johnny Lucas and Hazel Williams.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Williams will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley-Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Dale Walters. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Williams will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the funeral home and the family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Visitation is 6:00- 8:00 Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service is 2:00 pm Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Chapel.
