LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Wilburn B. "Kokie" Freeman, age 88, of 3758 Cimmeron Road, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his home. He was born June 23, 1921 in Westminster, SC the son of the late Henry Singleton Freeman and Myrtle Black Freeman and was the wife of Mary Whitten Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a retired Commercial Carpenter, a member of Antioch Baptist Church and served our great country in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Freeman was survived by his wife, Mary Freeman of the home, a son, Jackie Freeman and his wife Terry of Stanley, NC, 2 daughters, Linda J. Freeman of Waxhaw, and Janice G. Freeman of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, Tanya Rorie, Rusty Bigham, Jodie Ghent, and Jamie Fisher, and 7 great grandchildren; Brennan, Savanna, and Natalea Rorie, Paige and Mason Ghent, and MacKenzie and Alyssa Fisher.The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Freeman will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC. The Family of Mr. Freeman will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Lancaster, 902 W. Meeting Street Ste.
