LANCASTER, SC :::: Mr. Wayne Nelson Stogner, age 83, died Thursday, July 31, 2014. He was born June 18, 1931 in Lancaster, the son of the late Manning Stogner and Faye Robinson Stogner and was the husband of Mildred Emerson Stogner. Mr. Stogner retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a Mason with Antioch Masonic Lodge 399, a Shriner with Hejaz Shrine Temple and served our great country in the US Army in the Korean War.

Mr. Stogner is survived by a son, Alan Stogner of Siler City, NC and a daughter, Renee Stogner Price and her husband Steven of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Stogner was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Stogner.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Stogner will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church by Dr. Trent McLaughlin and Rev. Chris Blackmon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Mr. Stogner will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 3052 Taxahaw Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
