Obituary
VAN WYCK, SC :::::::::: Mr. Wayne Douglas McHowell, age 56, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born July 22, 1956 in Norwood, MA the son of the late Robert Henry McHowell and Doris LeShane McHowell. Mr. McHowell was a retired register nurse, attended Trinity Presbyterian Church and served our great country in the United States Marines.
Mr. McHowell is survived by a brother, Bryan McHowell of Van Wyck, a sister, Sandra Vaughan of Jacksonville, FL, 3 nieces, Katie McHowell, Meagan McHowell and Rebecca McHowell, and 2 great nieces, Audrey and Kassadie.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. McHowell will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Trinity Presbyterian Church by Rev. Dieter Paulson and Rev. Dan Weaver. Inurnment will follow at Van Wyck Cemetery.
The Family of Mr. McHowell will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:00 pm, Saturday at the church fellowship hall and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or www.diabetes.org.
