LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Charles Wayne Hartley, age 54, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born March 17, 1968, the son of Charles B. Hartley and the late Mary Frances Moore Hartley and was the husband of Angela Knight Hartley. Wayne enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales and auctions, and watching westerns on TV. He was an avid Clemson and Philadelphia eagles football fan. His family will always remember his humble spirit and his love for his family, especially his granddaughter, BaeLeigh. Wayne was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Angela Hartley; two daughters, Breanna Marie Hartley, and Ashley Michelle Hartley Rollings (Travis); a granddaughter, BaeLeigh Mae Rollings; his father, Charles B. Hartley; and his sister, Shirley H. Brown (Mitchell L.).

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Moore Hartley.

The Celebration of Life Service for Wayne will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Rev. Debra Whitesides. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church, General Fund, 1824 Airport Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720.
