LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Anthony Wayne Collins, age 62, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021.   He was born January 13, 1959, in Lando, SC, a son of the late Samuel Neeley Collins and Helen Broome Collins.  Wayne enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and NASCAR.  He loved his family and his friends.  Wayne was a member of Lando Baptist Church.

Wayne is survived by three brothers, Jimmy Collins, Steve Collins (Joan), and Charles Collins (Kay); two nephews, Randy Collins, and Neil Collins; seven nieces, Cindy Ashworth, Pam McBrayer, Tracey Collins, Darla Lynn Collins, Angel Willard, Amy Evans, and Jo Tucker; many great nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Tim Owens.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edward Collins, Harley Collins, and Kenneth Collins; and a nephew, Sam Collins.

The Celebration of Life Service for Wayne will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Lando Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Larry Wilson.  Burial will follow at Lando Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church sanctuary.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to Lando Baptist Church, 3737 Lando Rd., Richburg, SC 29729.
