LANCASTER, SC – Warren Bruce Moulton, a beloved father and husband, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on September 5, 1949, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Warren spent his early years in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was raised and formed the foundation of the values that would define him throughout his life.
He was known as a dedicated hard worker and provider. As a former supervisor at Eslon Thermoplastics, he approached every task with the diligence and perseverance expected of him, earning respect and admiration from his colleagues. Outside of work, he found pride and peace in working in his yard, a place where his hands were always busy.
Warren served honorably as a Marine, completing two tours in Vietnam. He was deeply and profoundly proud to serve his country, and his military service stood as a testament to his courage, commitment, and characteristics that carried through to all aspects of his life.
Deeply compassionate, Warren had a profound love for animals. He would often express his affection by feeding any creature that would approach him, showcasing a gentle spirit that endeared him to many. This love was not just a hobby but a reflection of his nurturing nature, which extended to his family.
His legacy is carried on by his loving family, who will forever cherish the memories created together. He is survived by his son, Jeremy Moulton (Melissa); his daughter, April Moulton; his brother, Irving Moulton (Diane); his grandchildren, including Jordan Riblen (Mikaela), Koury Moulton (Sydney), Landon Gardner, and Taylor Havens; and his two great-grandchildren.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Kathy Ward Moulton; his parents, Irving Otto Moulton and Annie Hall; and his sister, Betty Moulton Rodriguez. Their memories will forever remain a part of his story, woven into the fabric of his life.
A memorial service celebrating Warren's life will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church in Lancaster, South Carolina, beginning at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Mitch Gulledge. He will be laid to rest shortly afterward at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following burial.
As we gather to honor Warren, we will remember him not only for his hard work and dedication but also for the love he so freely shared with both his family and animals alike. His spirit will continue to inspire us of commitment and a life well-lived.
