LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Wanda Kieran O'Neill, age 77, of 914 Meadow Drive died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Morningside Assisted Living. She was born March 3, 1931 in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, the daughter of the late George Kieran and Wanda Linger Kieran and was the wife of the late John J.O'Neill. She was a homemaker and a graduate of the University of South Carolina - Lancaster. She served as past President of the St. Catherine's Ladies Guild, was a member of the Green Gardner's Club and the Women of the Moose. She volunteered on many boards and various charities and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.Mrs. O'Neill is survived by a son, Kevin John O'Neill, 2 daughters, Cheryl Quinn and her husband Walter and Janice Payne and her husband Todd all of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, Sean and Kathleen Quinn, and Neil and Mark Payne.Mrs. O'Neill was preceded in death by a brother, George Kieran, Jr. and a sister, Dorothy Lambiase.The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. O'Neill will be 11:00 am, Saturday morning, February 28, 2009 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church by Father John O'Holohan with entombment to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Family of Mrs. O'Neill will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday evening, February 27, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Catherine Catholic Church, Maintenance Fund, 720 W. Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Fort Lawn Community Center, PO Box 103, Fort Lawn, SC 29714 or the Salvation Army.
