LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Wanda Gail Faile, age 73, passed away December 8, 2025, in her son's home, surrounded by the ones she loved. She was born on April 23, 1952, a daughter of the late Yates Stogner and the late Ignoma Knight Stogner. She was the wife of the late Lonnie William Faile.

Wanda was a faithful, lifelong member of Zion Methodist Church and cherished every moment spent with her family; her world truly revolved around her son and her grandchildren. Known for her selfless heart, she would give anyone the shirt off her back. She loved to talk and never met a stranger, always sharing her warm sense of humor and her gift for making others laugh. Her smile was ever-present, a reflection of the joy and kindness she brought to those around her.

Some of Wanda's favorite things to do were simple but meant the most to her—listening to her oldies music on WRBK, riding around town just to enjoy the day, and spending time with her family and friends. Those moments brought her the most joy and were a true reflection of her gentle spirit and the love she carried for the people around her.

Wanda is survived by her son, Brandon Faile (Nichole); her four grandchildren, Cameron Faile, Carmen Faile, Jacob Sigman, and Abbigail Faile; her brother, Jerry Stogner (Becky) and his four stepchildren and four step-grandchildren; and her two sisters-in-law, Debbie Stogner and Norma Faile. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who adored her. Among the family she joins in Heaven are her beloved husband, Lonnie—whom she loved with all her heart—her parents, Yates and Ignoma Stogner, and her brother, Donnie Stogner. The thought of her reunited with them brings comfort and peace to those who loved her, knowing she is finally home with her family again.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Wanda will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Zion Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Tommy Howell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Burgess Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In this time of remembrance, the family welcomes all who wish to honor Wanda's memory and share in celebrating her remarkable life.
