HEATH SPRINGS, SC::::::: Mrs. Wanda Carol Snipes Brooks, age 57, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at her home. She was born October 2, 1957 in Greenville, SC, the daughter of Bonnie Lou Ellis Snipes and the late James Crawford Snipes and was the wife of Thomas Franklin Brooks. Mrs. Brooks was a cosmetologist and nail technician as well as an instructor. She was a member of the Church of God of Kershaw, enjoyed traveling, decorating, and was a devoted football fan of the Clemson Tigers.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband, Thomas Franklin Brooks, her mother, Bonnie Lou Ellis Snipes of Kershaw, a son, Danny L. Brooks of Lancaster, three daughters, Tesia Ruth Brooks and Angela Brooks Lloyd and her husband Robert both of Lancaster and Jennifer Brooks of Charlotte, a brother, James Snipes and wife Andrea of Spartanburg, 2 sisters, Carla Snipes Douglas and her husband Stoney of Lancaster and Sheila McGuire and her husband Glenn of Kershaw, 5 grandchildren, Brett and Ryan Lloyd, Allison Snipes and her husband Dan, Desiree Kellie Lovin and Alan Blake Lovin II, and two great grandchildren, Gunnar and Hunter Snipes.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by a grandchild, Marlee Lloyd and a sister Mary Ross.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Brooks will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Church of God of Kershaw by Rev. Quinton Hann and Rev. Tim Larrimore.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 505 East Boulevard, Suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28203.
