FORT LAWN, SC ~ Wanda Jean Pulliam Anderson, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at her home in Fort Lawn, South Carolina. Born on December 26, 1951, in Frankfort, Kentucky, Wanda was the daughter of the late Edward Pulliam and the late Marsha Heady Pulliam and was the beloved wife of Michael “Mike” Anderson.

Wanda cherished her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures and the love she shared with those around her. Wanda never passed up a trip to Sonic for her favorite large Diet Coke with extra ice, no matter where she was headed. She also enjoyed browsing thrift stores, playing cards, and spending time with the many dear friends she made through her church family at Second Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mike Anderson; their two sons, Kenneth Anderson (Amy) and Kevin Anderson (Chasity); six grandchildren, Kameron Anderson (Brooke), Drew Anderson (Katelynn), Spencer Anderson Leister (Jared), Dylan Anderson (Hannah), Jacob Neveau, and Harper Anderson; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Kylie Anderson, and one arriving in August.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marsha Pulliam.

A Celebration of Life Service for Wanda will be 4:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2026, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Dr. David Carlton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will also be held on Tuesday, May 12, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort, KY. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden.
