LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Wade C. Hinson, age 89, died September 18, 2012 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born September 26, 1922 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Marion Croxton Hinson and Delie Blackmon Hinson and was the husband of the late Lois Hunter Hinson. Mr. Hinson was the retired co-owner of The Hinson's Ladies Apparel, was formerly the Manager for Collins & Dunn and was a member of High Point Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon. Mr. Hinson served our great country in the United States Army as a Paratrooper and Purple Heart Recipient in the 17th Division, 464th Battalion during World War II. Mr. Hinson is survived by a son, Phill Hinson and his wife Debbie of Lancaster, 2 daughters, Anne Hinson of Lancaster and Janice Wilson and her husband Ron of Richmond, VA, a brother, Bruce Hinson and his wife Connie of Lancaster, a sister, Myrtle Roberts of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren, Daniel Hinson, Lauren Hinson, Ron Wilson, Jr. and his wife Toni, Anna Stillwell and her husband Chad, Timothy Wilson and his wife Brigitte, and John Wilson and his wife Leslie, and 7 great grandchildren, Hinson and Carrison Wilson, Caleb and Joshua Wilson, Hannah and Isabella Wilson and Aubrey Stillwell. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hinson will be 11:00 am Friday, September 21, 2012 at High Point Baptist Church by Rev. Bobby Joyner and Rev. Dr. Ron Wilson. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
