HEATH SPRINGS, SC::::::::::: Virginia Dare Robinson FunderburkHeath Springs, SCServices celebrating the life of Virginia R. Funderburk will be held Saturday, August 7th, at 4:00 p.m. at Flint Ridge Baptist Church in Heath Springs. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.Mrs. Funderburk was the devoted wife of the late Danny Reed Funderburk, and the daughter of the late John D. Robinson and Gladys R. Robinson. Born in Heath Springs, SC on September 14, 1932, she was the third of six children. Mrs. Funderburk was a lifelong member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church where she served for many years as a choir member and Sunday School teacher. She was retired from Springs Industries. She will be most remembered for her great love of family, her quick and contagious laughter, and being one of the finest cooks in the area. Her legacy of faith, love, and hard work will carry on for generations in the lives of those who loved her.Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her three sons, Nathan Funderburk (Leanna), Doug Funderburk (Betsy), and Bryan Funderburk (Lisa); six grandchildren: Natalie F. Jeffcoat (Derwin), Heather F. Neal (Jeff), Charleigh Funderburk, Jessica Funderburk, Danny Funderburk, and Leann Oliver( Christopher); 12 great-grandchildren: Bryce Jeffcoat, Dayton Jeffcoat, Deanna Jeffcoat, Andrew Neal, Joshua Neal, Ryan Neal, Madisyn Funderburk, Jordyn Knight, Luke Funderburk, Carmen Hunter, Jaylee-Rae Oliver, and Coley Oliver; sister Annie R. Stover; brothers Thomas Robinson(Bonnie) and Grady Robinson (Shirley), and by her sister- in -law and special friend, Natherae Robinson She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, grandson Eric D. Funderburk; brother John Lake Robinson and sister, Edna R. Roberts.Family members wish to extend their heartfelt acknowledgement and gratitude to Sandra Sowell, Shirley Robinson, Bonnie Robinson, and Miriam Cauthen for their exceptional care and comfort offered during her final days.
