LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Vincent Ficarrotta, age 86, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was born January 1, 1939, son of the late Giovanni Ficarrotta and the late Josephine Bruno Ficarrotta and the loving husband of the late Joan Reimer Ficarrotta. Vince enjoyed karaoke and was a lifelong learner. He found joy in taking any electronics apart and putting them back together. In his younger years, he was President of The Citizens Band Society CB Radio Club of Suffolk, NY. Family was most important to him, and he loved them all dearly, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Ficarrotta is survived by two sons, Vincent J. Ficarrotta, and John Ficarrotta and his wife, Christine; his daughter, Diane Gileta and her husband, Steven; six grandchildren, Alessandra Young and her husband, Andrew, Steven Gileta and his wife, Nicole, Sophia Ficarrotta, Olivia Ficarrotta, Anthony Ficarrotta, and Alex Ficarrotta; two great grandchildren, Abigail Joan Young and Adalynn Pearl Young; two sisters, Catherine Messina (Frank) and Angela Nuccio (Ralph); goddaughter, Yolanda Fazzalari-Forcina; and many nieces and nephews.

Vince was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Ficarrotta; his parents, Giovanni and Josephine Ficarrotta; and two sisters, Josephine Fazzalari and Francesca Graziano.
