LANCASTER, SC – Victor F. Spagnolo, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2026. Born on May 18, 1966, on Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late Ralph Joseph Spagnolo and the late Linda “Lynn” Dunkler Spagnolo. Above all else, Victor was the loving and devoted husband of Kathleen “Kathy” Hadlow Spagnolo, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years of marriage.

Victor lived a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. For more than 30 years, he proudly served as a volunteer firefighter and medic in New York, answering the call whenever his community needed him. His willingness to serve, his courage, and his compassionate heart touched countless lives and reflected the selfless man he was.

When he wasn't serving others, Victor found his greatest happiness with his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life and the source of his biggest smiles. He treasured every moment spent making memories with them, and there was nothing that brought him greater pride or joy. He also loved spending time on the water freshwater fishing, something he enjoyed almost daily. Those quiet moments outdoors brought him peace and were among his favorite ways to spend the day.

Victor had a heart that was generous, loyal, and full of love. He will be remembered not only for his unwavering dedication to his family and community, but also for the kindness he freely shared, the strength of his faith, and the steady presence he was to those who knew and loved him. His legacy of service, love, and compassion will continue to live on in the lives he touched.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 30 years, Kathleen “Kathy” Spagnolo; his daughter, Crystal Grout of Oregon; his cherished grandchildren, Joseph “Jack” Grout and Ariana Grout; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Victor's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, in the Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
