Lancaster, SC ~ Ms. Valada J. Catoe, age 82, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born August 18, 1936 in Lancaster, a daughter of Milledge C. Catoe and Lizzie Bell Pettit Catoe.

Ms. Catoe enjoyed shopping and reading. She was a loving caregiver to her family and was lovingly known as Lala to her nieces and nephews. Ms. Catoe was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Catoe is survived by her sister, Mary Higgins of Waterloo, AL; two brothers, Kenneth C. Catoe and Charles C. Catoe (Betty) both of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Ms. Catoe was preceded in death by her parents.
