LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Twina Euphemia Coker Haskins, age 79, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born in DeWitt, Arkansas on October 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Blonde Ray Coker and the late Nona Irene Brewer Coker Rounsaville. She was the loving wife of the late Roy Eugene Haskins.
Twina was a fun, bright spirit whose joy and laughter touched everyone who knew her. She truly loved life and believed every day was meant to be enjoyed. Whether she was headed to the beach, setting off on a cruise, or going shopping, Twina always made the most of every moment.
She especially loved shopping for shoes and pocketbooks, and they always had to match. Her sense of style was as memorable as her smile. Twina was also known for making the very best strawberry shortcake, a treat lovingly remembered by family and friends.
A devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Twina cheered them on with pride. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she dearly loved her church family at White Springs Baptist Church. She sang in the choir for many, many years, lifting her voice in praise and fellowship.
Above all, Twina loved to have a good time and had a special gift for making others laugh. Her warmth, humor, and lighthearted spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Twina is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hudson (Mark); her two grandchildren, Matt Lawing (Laura), and Tyler Hudson; her brother, Ronnie Rounsaville (Sheila); and many special family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Roy Haskins; her parents, Blonde Coker and Nona Rounsaville; and two siblings, Ray Coker (Margie), and Vickie Cummings (William)
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Twina will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 9, 2026, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Byron Fincannon and Pastor Rachel Foster. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at Burgess Funeral Home.
