LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mr. Travis Danielle Powers, age 29, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. He was born January 6, 1987 in Lancaster, the son of Janie Sims Powers and the late Carl Timothy Powers. Travis was a Locomotive Engineer with Charah Innovative Solutions and Service in Mt. Holly, NC. He loved watching wrestling, NASCAR and hockey. Travis was a member at High Point Baptist Church.

Travis is survived by his mother, Janie Powers; a brother, Randall Powers and his wife Bethany of Clover, SC; maternal grandparents, Claude and Betty Sims; and his paternal grandmother, Nellie Ruth Powers.

Travis was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Boyce Powers.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Travis will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Thomas Wayne Adams with burial to follow at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 3:00 pm Tuesday in the church sanctuary and suggest memorial contributions be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
