LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Traci Lynn Pitchford Calais, age 58, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born December 11, 1964, in Kingsport, TN, daughter of Gayle Cabe Pitchford and the late Robert Pitchford and was the wife of the late Robert Calais. Traci was very proud of her accomplishment, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved caring for others. Traci enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and going to the beach and mountains. Family was most important to her, and she loved caring for her children and grandchildren and spending Christmas and birthdays together.

Traci is survived by her three sons, Robbie Calais (Rebecca Anderson), Brandon Calais, and Chris Calais; her daughter, Katie Craig; four grandchildren, C.J. Calais, Karlee Plyler, Jaxtin Harper, and Madison Calais; two brothers, Michael Todd Pitchford and Robert "Trey" Pitchford (Christi); and several nieces and nephews.

Traci was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calais; and her father, Robert Pitchford.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Burgess Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to American Nurses Foundation, P.O. Box 504342, Saint Louis, MO 63150-4342.
