LANCASTER, SC – Tony Higgins passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born November 16, 1937, son of the late Clyde Higgins and Bernice Schultz Resnick and was the husband of Sally McKeown Higgins. Tony loved his family very much and was a hard worker and good provider. He served in the Air Force and Air Guard as an Aircraft Mechanic. In the manufacturing world, he was a jack of all trades, from janitor to assistant manager. Tony was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Tony is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sally Higgins; three children, Gina Higgins, Patrik Higgins, and Emily Higgins (Jason); seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two children, Tony Douglas Higgins and Glinna Susan Higgins; and his parents and stepparents, Bernice Resnick (Nate) and Clyde Higgins (Lena).

The Celebration of Life Service for Tony will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Christ Episcopal Church officiated by Father Phil Emanuel.
