LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::Tolson Alexander "Alex" Lowery, age 11 months, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Alex was born October 11, 2007 in Lancaster and was the son of Brent Lowery and Jenna Shannon.Alex is survived by his parents, Brent Lowery of Heath Springs and Jenna Shannon of Lancaster, maternal grandparents, David and Sheree Sawyer of Murrells Inlet, SC, paternal grandmother Sharon Lowery of Heath Springs, maternal great grandmother, Jennie Guy of Lancaster, and paternal great grandmother, Jean Lowery of Lancaster. Alex was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Hazel Lowery and his maternal great grandfather, Johnny Guy.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Alex will be 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Reggie Hopkins with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Alex will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 -2:00 pm Sunday at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Children's Fund, 1841 North Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
