LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Tillie Branham Stevens, age 79, of 1125 Skipper Avenue, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was born October 21, 1930 in Bishopville, SC, the daughter of the late Joe Ben Branham and Cleola Davis Branham and was the wife of the late Link Stevens. Mrs. Stevens retired from Springs Industries and was a member of High Point Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Stevens is survived by two sons, Ira E. Stevens and his wife Daphine and Danny R. Stevens and his fiance' Becky Carnes, three daughters, Ivy McAteer and her husband Luther, Ruby Hunter and her husband Glenn, and Kimberly Todd and her husband Howard all of Lancaster, a brother, Homer Branham of Bishopville, SC, seven sisters, Elizabeth Farmer and Susan Reynolds of Bishopville, Shirley Efird of Lexington, NC, Evelyn Jackson and Lois Branham of Camden, Annie Boone of Cassatt and Joette Farmer of Cherry Grove, SC, eight grandchildren, Deron Hunter, Greg Hunter, Jill Sistare, Briana Stevens, Garner Stevens, Tripp Todd, Zachary Todd and Sheridan Todd, and five great grandchildren, Brett, Eli and Porter Sistare and Draven and Piper Hunter. Mrs. Stevens was preceded by one brother, Lindy Branham.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Stevens will be 3:00 pm, Friday afternoon, February 26, 2010 at High Point Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Cliff Wilson and Rev. Marty Cox with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Stevens will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Young at Hearts Group, High Point Freewill Baptist Church, 2095 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
