HEATH SPRINGS, SC :::::::::: Mr. Thomas Jackson "Jackie" Hinson, age 64, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at his home. He was born May 18, 1949 in Lancaster, the son of the late I. W. Hinson, Sr. and Virginia Sistare Hinson and was the husband of Blenda Adams Hinson. Mr. Hinson was a self employed contractor and a member of Rich Hill Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren, Caige and Talen, his favorite horse "Rocket" and his loyal dog "Zip" .

Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Blenda Adams Hinson of the home, 3 sons, Michael Hinson and his fiancé Alison Plyler of Lancaster, Wayne Carter and his partner Bart Montgomery of Indian Land and Scott Carter and his wife Betsy of Heath Springs, a brother, I. W. "Billy" Hinson, Jr. and his wife Dianne of Heath Springs, a sister, Donna H. Whisennant and her husband Lamar of Heath Springs and 2 grandchildren, Caige and Talen Carter.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Hinson will be 5:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Rich Hill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Rod Yow and Dr. Trent McLaughlin.

The Family of Mr. Hinson will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions to Presbyterian Cancer Center, PO Box 33549, Charlotte, NC 28233 or Hospice of South Carolina, 412 N. White Street, Suite A, Lancaster, SC 29720.
