INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mr. Thomas Stewart Hardesty, age 87, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home.  He was born December 9, 1931 in Rocky River, Ohio.  Mr. Hardesty was a teacher and counselor for many years before becoming a salesman. He was a very outgoing and fun-loving person who enjoyed interacting with others.  Mr. Hardesty and his wife were part of the original interest group of Sun City and were a part of the ground-breaking.  He was a very active member of his Sun City community.  Mr. Hardesty will be greatly missed by his family and friends and also his dog.

Mr. Hardesty is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn; two daughters; seven grandchildren; a sister-in-law; a nephew; a niece; and a great nephew.

Mr. Hardesty was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.
