LANCASTER, SC ~Mr. Thomas Reid Crump, age 91, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his home. He was born September 25, 1926 in Union County, NC, a son of the late Roscoe Rape and Will Funderburk Rape. Mr. Crump was co-owner of Don and Tommys Airport Amoco from 1971-1991 and continued to work with his son at Crump Motor Company. He loved the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. Dale Earnhardt was his favorite NASCAR driver. He drove the #8 car and raced at the Lancaster Motor Speedway. Mr. Crump was a longtime member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. Crump is survived by his children, Jimmy Crump and his special friend, Robin Cole of Lancaster, Bonnie Crump Wright and her husband, Julius of Irmo, SC and Tammy Crump and her special friend, Beccocco Baker of Lancaster; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren, and his wife, Diana Jordan Crump.

Mr. Crump was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Hattie Rollins (Crump) McCoy; and a son, Donald Reid Crump.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Crump will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Waldrop.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Monday evening, May 14, 2018 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to White Springs Baptist Church, 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.
