LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Thomas E. Baker, age 54, of 2178 John Everall Road, died Saturday September 19, 2009 at MUSC - Charleston. He was born September 17, 1955 in Lancaster County, the son of the late William P. Baker and Mildred Baker Baker and was the husband of Ronda Williams Baker. Mr. Baker was a self employed carpenter, volunteered with the Buford Booster Club and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy. Mr. Baker was survived by his wife, Ronda Baker of the home, 2 daughters, Crystal Haire and Alicia Haire both of the home, 3 brothers, William P. Baker, Jr., Kenneth Wayne Baker and Billy Neal Baker all of Lancaster, 4 sisters, Ann B. Parker, Cheryll Hanson and Crystal Weeks all of Lancaster, and Gail Vick of Atlanta, GA, and 2 grandchildren, Ty'shawn and Daylen McGriff.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Baker will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mr. Baker will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday, September 21, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to be made to MUSC - Transplant Unit, PO Box 250508, Charleston, SC 29425.
