LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Rev. Thomas "Tommy" B. Brazell, age 87, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at his home. He was born November 26, 1926 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Wylie Jessie Brazell, Sr. and Alice White Brazell. Mr. Brazell was first married to the late Mildred Kirkley Brazell and secondly to Edith Belk Brazell. Rev. Brazell retired from Springs Industries, the Postal Service and served as minister at Pentecostal Churches in Great Falls, Chester, Bennettsville, and Monroe, NC. Rev. Brazell was the last remaining charter member of Westside Baptist Church.

Rev. Brazell is survived by his wife, Edith B. Brazell of the home, a son, Randall Brazell and his wife Clara and a daughter, Barbara Outen of both of Lancaster, 2 stepsons, Jackie Eubanks and his wife Saundra of Augusta, GA and Jamie Eubanks and his wife Angie of Lancaster, 2 stepdaughters, Wanda Langley and her husband Jerry and Joy Ghent and her husband Robert both of Lancaster, a daughter-in-law, Vicki Brazell of Lancaster, a brother, Clyde Brazell and his wife Emily and 2 sisters, Katherine Monroe and Mary Ann Baker all of Lancaster, 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Rev. Brazell was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Allen Brazell, a brother, Wylie J. Brazell, Jr., 2 sisters, Bernice Vaughn and Faye Vaughn and a grandson, Tommy Lee Brazell.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Rev. Brazell will be 3:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Westide Baptist Church by Rev. Todd Robinson, Rev. Dwight Brazell and Rev. Lonnie Brazell. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:45 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Westside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and suggest memorials to Westside Baptist Church, Van Fund, 2066 Airport Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
