LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Terry Allen Shaw passed away January 14, 2023, with his loving wife Debbie at his side. They had recently moved to South Carolina where they were enjoying their retirement.

Terry enjoyed spending time outdoors working around the yard, loved his music and books, and was an avid Boston sports fan. He loved spending time with both his and Debbie's family, and especially loved his time with his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his loving wife Debbie of 35 years; his son, John Shaw and his wife Gail, of Temecula, CA; stepson, CB Williams of Portland, CT; stepdaughter, Jennifer Bendure of Florida; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Terry is also survived by his sister, Sandra Weagle and her husband Allen, of Searsmont ME; brother, David Shaw and his wife Lory, of Tyngsboro, MA; sister, Laura Shaw of Lee, NH; sister, Ruth Casavant and her husband Jim, of Exeter, RI; and sister, Paula Melaugh and her husband Dan, of Lakeland, Fl.

Terry was predeceased in death by his parents, Norman and Doris Shaw; brother, Richard and his wife Marleen Shaw; sister, Joanne and her husband George Turner; and brothers, Frank and Russell Shaw.

A private celebration of life memorial service for Terry will be Friday January 20, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home in Lancaster, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 South Peal Street, Albany, NY 12202, (1-518-462-0459).
