Obituary

Teresa Lynne Hatfield Moore

12-20-1972 to 03-27-2022

Teresa was born in Parkersburg, WV on December 20th 1972 to Daniel Douglas Hatfield and Clara Jane Freeland Hatfield Hendrickson. Early in life, she moved from West Virginia to Charlotte, NC with her mother, brother, and stepfather Doyle Hendrickson.  Teresa graduated from Charlotte Christian School. In October 1991 she met her loving husband, Jason Moore, and she joined him in Indian Land, SC. Together they have four wonderful children.

Teresa enjoyed many things in life, in particular she loved to cook and bake for those that she loved.  On her favorite days, she would spend her time with her family and friends, entertaining and ensuring that each one felt seen and loved. Everyone who knows her, knows she was the very essence of being filled with life.  Her laughter was louder, her smile wider, her hugs tighter and her love deeper. Her forty-nine years on this Earth could not possibly be condensed into small paragraphs that's accurately describe how incredible Teresa was. Our lives will truly forever be changed by her absence.

Teresa left this Earth into her heavenly home from MUSC Lancaster on March 27th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Clara Hendrickson, father Daniel Hatfield, stepfather Doyle Hendrickson, father-in-law Banks Moore, grandparents Truman (Loraine) Freeland, Ocal (Martha) Hatfield, aunt Diana-Lynne Pickens, and brother in law Richard Kimbrell.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Jason Moore; children Meghan Moore, Andrew (Oriana) Moore, Aimee Moore, and Noah Moore; mother-in-law, Betty Moore; grandson, Samir Moore; siblings, Daniel D. Hatfield Jr., Roberta (Jim) Cook of WV, Cheryl Reed of CA, Lynn (Lisa) Moore, Tanya (Paula) Leonhardt, and Sherry Kimbrell; aunts and uncles, Sharon Kay Dean, Barbra (Chris) Hinzman of WV, and Gail (Judy) Hatfield of MD, well as many nieces and nephews.
