LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Ted O. Wright, age 81, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at CMC-Pineville. He was born December 4, 1932 in Lancaster, the son of the late Arthur Lee Wright and Ruth Moore Wright and was the husband of Annette Outen Wright. Mr. Wright was the owner of Wright's Tax Service for over 50 years and retired from Lancaster County as Treasurer after 26 years of service. He served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge 153 and the Jackson Shrine Hejaz Temple. He was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church and spent many hours reading, especially his Bible. He loved to fish and enjoy God's creations. His favorite place was Springmaid Beach and he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Annette O. Wright of the home, two daughters, Teresa W. Brown and her husband Danny and Jan W. Williamson and her husband Mike of Lancaster, one son, Tim Wright of Myrtle Beach, SC, six grandchildren; Dana B. Funderburk and her husband Tim, Teddi B. Robinson and her husband Will, Robert Brown and his wife Tasha, Mary Beth W. Hileman and her husband Jarrod, Jon Michael Williamson and his wife Mary Beth, and James Ted Wright, 11 great grandchildren; Daniel, Deanna, Tripp, Dylan, Dominique, Kiearra, Robert, Jr., Blythe, Gaige, Rylan, and an unborn male great grandchild, six step great grandchildren; 4 step great great grandchildren; three brothers, A. W. Wright and his wife Jo, Elvin D. Wright and Carl Wright and his wife Shelby all of Lancaster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Wright will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Anderson and Rev. Adam Wright. Burial with military honors and Masonic rites will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Wright will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening, April 1, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1152 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
