FORT MILL, SC ~ Ted Walker Reeves, Jr., 66, passed away at his home on Friday, May 15, 2020.  Ted was born May 21, 1953 in Lancaster, SC, a son of Shirley McPherson Smith and the late Ted Walker Reeves, Sr.  He served in the United States Army and Navy.  Ted enjoyed working on model cars, fishing, flying drones and his mustang. He was in the Maintenance Department at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Pageland, SC for 17 years.

Ted is survived by his significant other, Sheila Little; two daughters, Haley Reeves of Rock Hill, SC and Elizabeth Snipes of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Madison Snipes; his mother, Shirley Smith; a sister, Donna Strickland of Fort Lawn; and many nieces and nephews.

Ted is preceded in death by his father.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy. Lancaster, SC.  Due to ongoing public health concerns, the family asks that those who consider attending will use all judgement and discernment and follow the recommendations of the CDC and Governor.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
