LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Tammy Carter Funderburk, age 51, died Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was born November 6, 1962 in Lancaster, the daughter of Stephen Carter and Nancy Blackmon Hinson and was the wife of David M. Funderburk. Mrs. Funderburk was a homemaker, a dedicated Mother and Mimi and a member of Second Baptist Church.

Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her husband, David M. Funderburk, her mother, Nancy Blackmon Hinson, her father, Stephen Carter, a son, Roderick David Funderburk, a daughter, Holly Candace Terry and her husband Bobby, two brothers, Chris Carter and his wife Christy and Tod Hammond all of Lancaster, and three grandchildren, Gunnar Gaskin, Drake Starnes and Alyson Funderburk.

Mrs. Funderburk was preceded in death by her step father, Mike Hinson and her brother, Stephen Eric Carter.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Funderburk will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Second Baptist Church by Dr. Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Funderburk will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Second Baptist Church, Recovery Program, 1426 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
