LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Tami "Tammaw" Lingle Crenshaw, age 63, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024. She was born on September 5, 1961, in Lancaster, SC, the daughter of the late Gary Glenn Lingle and the late Linda Threatt Lingle. Tami was the devoted wife of Hal Crenshaw, with whom she shared 43 wonderful years of marriage.

Tami is survived by her loving husband, Hal Crenshaw; her three children and spouses, Brittany McCutcheon (James), Jessica Lawson (Forrest), and Garrett Crenshaw (Audrey); her cherished grandchildren, Cole and Ava McCutcheon, and Dane and Reeves Lawson; her brother, Ronnie Lingle (Shirley); and numerous beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Linda Lingle, and her sister, Kara Lynn "KK" Lingle.

Tami and Hal's love story began as high school sweethearts, a bond that remained steadfast throughout their lives. Being a mother was Tami's greatest calling and her proudest accomplishment. She poured her entire heart and soul into her family, nurturing them with unwavering love. Her greatest joy was caring for her family, and she expressed her love most profoundly through cooking. Feeding her family was her love language, and she was a remarkable cook.

"Tammaw," as she was affectionately known by many but most importantly by her grandchildren, who were the light of her life and celebrated their achievements, big or small, with immense pride. Her fierce devotion to her family was matched only by her strong and abiding faith. Her love knew no bounds for her family, faith, and community. Her absence will leave an irreplaceable void and the world is forever changed without her.

A Celebration of Life Service for Tami will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Second Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Brian Saxon. A private burial will follow.

The family will receive friends following the service until 4:00 PM in the church family life center.
