INDIAN LAND, SC – Ms. Sylvia Ray Poole Watts, age 76, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was born March 7, 1948, in Greensboro, NC, daughter of the late Heyward "Punch" Poole and Sophie Windham Poole. Ms. Watts volunteered at the VA Hospital in Charleston SC and was voted Volunteer of the Year for 3 years in a row. She enjoyed singing, watching westerns, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her fur babies, Heidi and Blue. Her laugh was infectious, and she just loved to laugh.

Ms. Watts is survived by two sons, Ronnie Watts and Chris Watts (Julie); two grandchildren, Hannah Watts and Jackson Watts; sister-in-law, Linda Poole; two nieces, Cathy Baird and Debbie Kelso; and two nephews, William Poole and Robert Poole.

Ms. Watts was preceded in death by a son, Jackson "Jack" Lee Watts, III; her parents; and brother, Heyward Poole, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Watts will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 3, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Okey Landers, III.
