LANCASTER, SC ~    Ms. Sylvia Ann Brown Hilton, age 71, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at her home.  She was born on January 12, 1954, and she was the daughter of the late Doris Brown.  Sylvia was a Computer Analyst with IBM for many years.  She enjoyed working in her yard, reading, and working on computers. Sylvia loved her family dearly and cherished each moment spent with them.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Bruce Carl Weatherspoon; her son, Jason Hilton (Dana); two grandchildren, Riles Hilton and Alexis Hilton; two brothers, Freddie Brown, and Frankie Brown (Peggy); and a niece, Donna Oliver (Lynn).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Brown; a sister, Betty Thompson; and her brother, Edwin Brown.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Ms. Hilton will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Lancaster Memorial Park, officiated by Dr. David Carlton.
