LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Sylvia Hinson Beckham, age 73, died Tuesday, October 08, 2013. She was born December 30, 1939 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Oday Hinson and Ethel Lee Dunn Hinson and was the wife of James Howard Beckham, Jr. She retired from Rexham Corporation and was a member St. Luke United Methodist Church and the Friends in Christ Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Beckham is survived by her husband James H. Beckham, Jr. of the home, a son, John Gavin Beckham and his wife Tracy of Blythewood, 2 brothers, Larry Hinson and his wife Vickie of Liberty Hill, and Rusty Hinson and his wife Judy of Lancaster, and 2 grandchildren, Kayla Beckham and Gavin Beckham.

Mrs. Beckham was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Hinson and a sister, Linda Day.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Beckham will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October10, 2013 at St. Luke United Methodist Church by Rev. Bill McCown. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Heath Springs.

The Family of Mrs. Beckham will receive friends one hour before service time, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the sanctuary and suggest memorial contributions to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 128 Providence Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
