LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Sybil Flynn Pittman went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 22, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Henry Lonzo Flynn and Alline Parks Flynn and was the wife of the late Jack Sims Pittman. Mrs. Pittman loved cutting grass, crafting, painting, and cooking but most of all, her family. She has cooked Sunday lunch for her family for the last 20+ years. Mrs. Pittman was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pittman is survived by a daughter, Yvonne Mackey (Benny); two sons, Nelson Pittman, and Tony Pittman (Becky); four grandchildren, Allison Mackey Outlaw (Cass), Crystal McKay (Johnny), James C. Parker (Becky), and Jake C. Barrett; five great-grandchildren, Jameson Outlaw, Autumn Eason, Summer Parker, Hayle Parker, and Libby Parker; and four great great- grandchildren, Isla Eason, Ayden Parker, Princeton Parker, and Italeigh Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pittman; her parents, Lonzo and Alline Flynn; her brother, Charles Henry Flynn and his wife, Peggy Catoe Flynn; and her sister, Catherine Flynn.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Pittman will be 11:00 am on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Steve Anglin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00- 7:00pm, Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Burgess Funeral Home and other times at the home.
