LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Suzette Mary Roberts Sladek, age 64, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born August 22, 1959, in Lancaster, daughter of Bob Roberts and the late Agnes Bailes Roberts. Children were her passion and Suzette loved teaching at Field of Dreams Nurture and Education Center in Indian Land, SC. She also worked for several years with Easter Seals. Suzette was a member of First Baptist Church in Lancaster.

Suzette is survived by her daughter, Sarah Sladek; her son, Zach Toman (Amy); her father, Bob Roberts; two brothers, Bobby Roberts, Jr. (Dixie) and Morris Roberts; three nephews, Josh Roberts (Leslie), Justin Roberts, and Tom Gregory (Jessica); and a niece, Polly Roberts.

Suzette was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Roberts; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Roberts.

The Celebration of Life Service for Suzette will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 14, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Randy Hatcher.
