LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Sue Flowers Yow, age 63, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was born September 24, 1959, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Leroy Logan Flowers and Mildred Jeanette Bundy Flowers Epperson. Sue enjoyed cooking and was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan. She loved her dog, Cocky, she was the love of her life. Sue loved her family dearly and always made family a priority.

Sue is survived by her nieces and nephews, Monica, Robert, Danielle, Tristan, Nicole, Kory, Alysen, Brandon, Cody, Charlie, Tate, Tabytha, David, Keri, Corey, Brannon; special friends, Carol, Annette, Tammy, and Tina; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mildred; her brother, Danny; her sister, Jeanette; her niece, Crystal; and her nephew, Josh.

The Celebration of Life Service for Sue will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Brad Threatt, and Chaplin Lee Ann Livingston. Inurnment will take place at Lancaster Memorial Park at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Lancaster County Society for Prevention of Animal Cruelty (LSPCA), PO Box 3042, Lancaster, SC 29721.
