LANCASTER, SC - Sue Tillman, 76 passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Atrium Health Charlotte.   Born May 9, 1947, in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Fred James Robinson, Sr. and Lola Gaskin Robinson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Robinson and a niece, Jody Adams.

Sue loved the Lord and her church, Springdell Baptist where she was a very active member. For decades she was VBS coordinator, mission friends teacher, nursery director and WMU secretary.  She loved working with children throughout the years, not only at church, but kept them in her home for daycare. She retired from Shiloh ARP Church's Sonshine Preschool.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 56 years, Billy Tillman; sons, Kevin Tillman (Kimberly) and Philip Tillman (Ann); grandchildren, Jacob, Thomas, CJ, Maddie, Macie and Elan; siblings, Cherry Hendley (Charles), Jimmy Robinson and Randy Robinson; Jerry's widow, Sarah Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and goddaughter, Kellyn Sneed Johnson.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am Friday March 15, 2024, at Lancaster Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Donald Tillman.
