LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Sue Smith Heath, age 60, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her home. She was born December 11, 1957 in Monroe, NC, a daughter of the late Eugene Hammond Smith and Anna Laura Anderson Smith. Sue was a graduate of Southeastern Beauty School and was the owner of University Hair Center. She loved fishing, cooking, and arranging flowers. Her greatest love was being a Meme to her grandchildren. Sues passion was making everyone beautiful which she did for more than 40 years. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and attended Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by her children, G. B. Heath IV and his wife, Samantha of Fort Collins, CO, Caroline Reeves and DeAnna Heath both of Lancaster and Alex Heath of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Ginny Smith Sistare and her husband, Morris of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Cheyann Crump, Grant Rhoney and Channing Blackmon; three nieces, Reagan Faile-Pilcher, Stephanie Ghent and Mary Frances Faile, and a nephew, Greg Faile.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Grant Miller Heath.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Sue will be 3:00 pm, Friday, April 20, 2018 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Jessie Adams. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm, Thursday evening, April 19, 2018 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Lancaster County Relay for Life, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
