FORT MILL, SC::::::::::: Mrs. Sue Tootsie Mackey Duckett, age 78, died Monday, February 8, 2016 at her home. She was born January 24, 1938 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Edwin Mackey and Ruth Fincher Mackey Hudson and was the wife of the late Harry Lee Duckett. Mrs. Duckett retired from JC Penney. She enjoyed reading and loved to travel with her senior groups. She attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Duckett is survived by a son, Thomas L. Tommy Duckett and his wife, Becky of Fort Mill; a sister, Barbara Bobbie Couch of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Thomas Vogt and his wife, Mirna and Stephanie Kelly and her husband, Tim; three great grandchildren, Daphne, Jeorge and M.J.; and a great-great grandchild, Tucker Roadcapp.

Mrs. Duckett was preceded in death by four sisters, Lib McCorkle, Doris Shute, Jimmie Mackey and an infant, Jacqueline Mackey; and one grandchild, Brittany Dibler Roadcapp.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Duckett will be 11:00 am Friday, February 12, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church by Rev. Joel McMakin. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday evening, February 11, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC.
